My name is Shauna Lee Buchan. I am from Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia; I am a wife, a Mom, and a proud Grandmother (Nana).

I am currently a contracted Hairstylist, providing services at four Senior’s assisted living homes.  My 35 years of experience in this industry has included 15 years of owning and operating my own salon. I turned the basement of my home into a salon so I could be at home as I raised my two children.

Along the way I have met so many beautiful souls that put their faith and trust in me, and I am so grateful for each of them.  Not only were they long term clients, but over the years, the bonds we built blossomed into incredible friendships.

With the everchanging world we live in as well as me knowing it won’t be too long before I hang up the tools of my trade, I have chosen to broaden my horizons and start a career in the online world.  I have been so intrigued and amazed over the last few years about the ability to forge your own path in this digital world.

I get such enjoyment and relaxation spending some of my free time at or near the ocean.  If it's swimming, walking our 12 year old Golden Retriever, Molly, along the sandy shores, boating, or even just curling up with a great book. It truly is therapeutic.

I am a huge animal lover and have rescued three Golden Retrievers and four kittens in my lifetime.  If I could, I would build a huge shelter and rescue them all; hopefully one day I will be able to fulfill that dream as well.

I thoroughly enjoy great music and having fun.  My perfect night out would include dancing the night away and one or two lime Margarita’s or a nice Red Wine.

And of course, I love spending quality time with my family and friends.

I love to make others feel good about themselves and get true enjoyment putting a smile on someone’s face that needs a little pick-me-up, and with any luck that smile will turn into a laugh, which is the absolute best.

I am confident with this new career path I have chosen; I will be able to continue to help, support, and guide people all around the world as well as pursue my passions and create a fulfilling life for myself and my family.
